1899	Ennosuke Amano started pharmaceutical business.
1939	Genichi Amano started pharmaceutical business in China.
1948	Amano Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. incorporated in Nagoya, Japan. Started production of digestive enzyme, Malt Diastase.
1950	Established Nishiharu Enzyme Plant with fungal amylase production.
1960	Established an Enzyme Research And Development Center.
1961	Started production of food-processing enzyme, Glucoamylase.
1969	Established Nagoya Enzyme Plant.
1970	Started production of diagnostic enzyme, Lipoprotein Lipase.
1976	Established Yoro Enzyme Plant.
1980	Pancreatin production technology was transferred to China.
1981	Established Amano International Enzyme Co., Ltd. in U.S.A.
1983	Opened a Liaison Office in Frankfurt, Germany.

2007	Established Amano Enzyme China Ltd. in Shanghai.
2009	Established Amano Enzyme Manufacturing (China) Ltd.
2011	AEE Swiss office opened in Lugano.
2012	Amano Enzyme Asia Pacific office opened in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
2013	Merged with Daiwa Kasei K.K. and the plant started as Shiga Plant of Amano Enzyme Inc.
